I was born and raised in Rajkot, India. I moved to USA in 1987. I received my Bachelors of Science in computer science from The University of Texas at Austin in 1996. I lived in Austin for almost eleven years. I moved to Jersey City, NJ in April of 1998 after my wedding to Jaldhar. Here are some pictures of my wedding. My parents, and my older brother Hemang still live in Austin. Kanan, my bhabhi (sister-in-law) joined the family this year. Here are their pictures. I am a Sun certified Java programmer. I like Java because of its Object-Oriented nature, its built-in security features, and the way you can you use it to write applets for the World Wide Web. In fact, the wedding pictures above are displayed using a Java applet I wrote.

My hobbies include reading(Gujarati novels), cooking(Indian, mexican, and Italian food), and listening to music(Hindi and English). I also like watching Hindi and English movies.
